11/02/2013 My name is Phillip and I am selling my 1980 Chevrolet Corvette. Due to personal reasons this car must be sold by Friday, November 1st, 2013. I will accept the first reasonable offer and end the auction. I asked Scott to help me sell this car. Here are notes about the car. I am the 2nd owner and it is a numbers matching car. It has a 350 ci 190hp V8 motor and 4-speed Muncie transmission with less than 46,000 miles. The motor has never been rebuilt and runs flawlessly. The transmission was gone through by personal choice and all the components were replaced with high performance parts roughly 9 years ago. The car is driven to shows regularly and kept in great shape. I also had Patriot side pipes installed this year. The entire interior with the exception of the dash was restored 9 years ago when I acquired the car. There is a small crack in the console around the emergency brake. The instruments/gauges with the exception of the clock all work. I installed an am/fm cd/dvd player 5 years ago and it still sounds great and operates properly as well. The suspension is still tight and responsive, and the car drives and handles well. Floor and Trunk pans are original to the best of my knowledge, solid and show no known rust. Underneath shows normal wear but looks fantastic with no rust issues as this car NEVER sees rain or inclement weather. Hideaway headlights function properly as well. All vacuum lines and canister were replaced when the car was painted 5 years ago. The car is located in Flint, Michigan.
